“The refreshing thing about this film is to celebrate the act of creation and the culture of comics above the concerns of profit or plaudits. With moments of comedy, drama and a real sense of poignancy, it is a love letter to the DIY ethos.”
An indie doc that explores the thriving underground, eccentric and quintessentially British self-publishing comic book scene. A funny and warm journey through the highs and lows of success and failure – told from the perspective of two eccentrics following their dreams. A film celebrating passion, for it’s own sake.
It was a Staff Pick Kickstarter project, had its UK premiere at the London Short Film Festival (LSFF) and has been screened at various comics, zine and film festivals in Europe.
